TAKRAF to present and exhibit at the IPCC 2022 conference in Cancun, Mexico, 28 to 29 Apr 2022

We’re pleased to announce that TAKRAF will deliver a presentation as well as host a booth and exhibit at the IPCC 2022 conference in Mexico. This is the only global In-Pit Crushing and Conveying (IPCC) focused event of its kind and this sixth gathering promises to build upon a hugely successful conference series.

IPCC system, overburden, Kazakhstan
TAKRAF’s IPCC system for overburden removal in Kazakhstan. The system boasts a capacity of 8,500 t/h with an overall length of 5,500 m and includes two crushing stations, various conveyors, a tripper car and a spreader.

IPCC systems cut truck haulage to a minimum and build operational resilience - they substantially reduce operational expenditure and hold important environmental and safety benefits too. Conventional truck haulage in surface mines is well established and this system provides excellent flexibility; however it can also contribute up to 60% of the overall mining cost. IPCC represents a viable, safer and less fossil fuel dependent alternative.

At this dedicated IPCC event, Rico Neumann, TAKRAF Germany: Chief Mine Planning Engineer, will present TAKRAF’s latest IPCC installations and explain, why this technology was chosen, what issues the system overcame and what benefits were ultimately provided.

TAKRAF will also be present at the event with a booth showcasing our capabilities and expertise in delivering IPCC systems around the world.
