Today we join our colleagues, clients and stakeholders around the world in celebrating World Day for Safety and Health at Work. This is an annual event celebrated on 28 April to promote the prevention of occupational accidents and diseases globally. Today is also the International Commemoration Day for Dead and Injured.

At the workplace, we are exposed to many risks. These range from biological and chemical hazards to physical, psychosocial and ergonomic hazards. Sadly, millions of workers lose their lives each year due to occupational accidents and diseases, with many more suffering from debilitating work-related injuries and chronic conditions. Despite these dangers, adequate Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) measures to prevent accidents and diseases at the workplace are often lacking in many countries.

At TAKRAF Group, safety is at the core of our culture and our way of living and doing things, at work and at home. We are committed to ensuring that all our offices and sites worldwide are safe, clean and healthy environments at all times for all stakeholders.

Our Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) protection management system is certified for compliance with ISO 45001:2018, SCC:2011 and ISO 14001:2015 standards and is regularly reviewed to ensure alignment with prevailing requirements.

We do not only achieve customer satisfaction through the quality of our solutions, but also thanks to our commitment to ensure on-the-job safety and protecting health and the environment in our production processes.
