Water is the most important requirement for life on earth. TAKRAF Group strives to support and contribute to society, wherever possible, as part of our global CSR policy.

Recently, on June 19 and 27 this year, TAKRAF India inaugurated a RO plant at Queen Mary's Girls College and a Government Higher Secondary School. Each plant boasts a capacity of 500 liters of drinking water per hour and serves nearly 8,000 young women in the college and more than 2,000 students at the school.

Rajagopalan Ramanathan, TAKRAF India: Managing Director – CFO, had this to say recently when asked about TAKRAF India’s CSR policy, “We are very pleased and proud to have contributed to the vital supply of clean drinking water, which is an essential requirement for everyday life and something which is becoming increasingly poorer in quality. I would like to thank all colleagues that assisted in this initiative, together with our stakeholders, for positively contributing to the livelihood of the students at these schools with something that many of us take for granted – well done!”
