Over a year has passed since the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the global community becoming accustomed to dealing with this challenging situation, which has deeply affected peoples’ lives. In this context, resilience has become an important quality to face uncertainty, and this is why it is at the center of this year’s World Day for Safety and Health at Work campaign.

“Since the previous International Safety Day, we have focused our efforts on the protection and health of our employees and stakeholders in the fight against the corona virus. Maintaining business operations by mobile working has become a normality for many of us. We all had to learn to remain flexible and quickly react to the constantly changing challenges, both at work and in our private lives”, said Reiner Niemann, TAKRAF QHSE Manager. “Even after the pandemic, this will have an impact on the needs of employees in the work environment of tomorrow."

“During the pandemic, our way of working together to support our global customers, partners and suppliers has changed dramatically. We reinvented ourselves. Managing the emergency was the first challenge we faced; from ensuring the safety of our people while projects were continuing, to arranging smart mobile working in the most efficient way. Most importantly, all TAKRAF Group colleagues have demonstrated their capability to work as a team, with commitment and passion, and to deliver what we promise, despite unprecedented challenges. These strengths will remain with us,” affirmed Andrea Lovato, TAKRAF CEO.
