Tailored processing plants for primary, secondary and tertiary crushing

TAKRAF Processing Plants provide solutions for crushing, screening and grinding in versatile arrangements and for different stages of materials processing for a broad range of commodities. The equipment can be based on proven standardized structures but also highly customized to match our clients' specific needs.

Typical applications are:

  • Primary crushing, e.g. for In-Pit Crushing and Conveying (IPCC)
  • Secondary and tertiary crushing with or without screening
  • Tertiary and quaternary grinding

Mobile installations

Aside from the classic stationary plant arrangements connected to fixed conveyors, TAKRAF Group provides semi-mobile installations, which are relocated using transport crawlers or Self-Propelled Mobile Trailers (SPMTs). Fully mobile installations (e.g. crawler-mounted) are provided for some applications.

Integration of multiple process units

As a benefit to our customers, TAKRAF integrates process units from different brands, including:

Multiple process units may be installed within one installation in series or parallel. Individual installations can be combined with larger process arrangements using TAKRAF In-Plant Conveyors.

Arrangement and maintainability

The arrangement of process plants may differ subject to the application. Specifically, primary crushing applications often involve large scale hoppers to decouple non-continuous mining operations (e.g. via shovel/truck) from continuous operations via belt feeders/conveyor belts. Accordingly, a TAKRAF Primary Crushing Plant often serves as a buffer/capacity control for the wider system.

While process units add value to the processed material (e.g. by making it transportable or usable for downstream processing), their components are often subject to heavy wear. Thoroughly engineered maintainability of the process units is therefore pivotal, taking into account the exchange of components via integrated cranes  and/or modular removal of chute sections or even entire process units.
