TAKRAF Group is expanding its global footprint by establishing a presence in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (KSA)
This strategic step marks an important milestone in the Group’s growth in the Middle East and reinforces its commitment to being closer to customers in one of the world’s most dynamic and rapidly developing regions.
To support this expansion, TAKRAF Group has appointed Americo Bortolozzo as Managing Director to lead the establishment and development of the KSA operations in Riyadh.
Americo Bortolozzo holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with his career rooted in the engineering, procurement, construction solutions and in Mining OEM industry. This technical foundation has enabled him to develop a comprehensive understanding of complex project environments and industrial processes, underpinning his progression into senior leadership roles in global operations and business development.
Over the course of his career, Americo has established a strong international track record, having worked extensively across the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. He has led large-scale projects and played a significant role in mergers and acquisitions, as well as post-merger integration initiatives, demonstrating a consistent ability to deliver in complex, multi-regional environments.
His professional experience includes senior leadership positions within globally recognized organizations. He has built substantial operational expertise through the establishment and management of entities for Fortune 500 companies in Thailand and Brazil. At ThyssenKrupp, he served as Vice President of Business Development, leading global OEM-focused initiatives. He subsequently held the position of Vice President, Business Development at FLSmidth. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated the ability to lead within multicultural environments, develop high-performing teams, and drive sustainable growth while maintaining operational discipline and strategic alignment. Most recently, he was based in Morocco with a focus on the Middle East and North Africa region.
