Overland conveyor with 8,120 m pulley center distance
Copper ore is moved from the crusher to the processing facilities via the main overland conveyor, which has a pulley center distance of 8,120 m. The conveyor follows the natural ground profile, with approximately 63 % of its length running through horizontal curves, including sections with both convex and concave alignments. To accommodate steep horizontal curve radii, banking angles of up to 17° are combined with idler tilt.
