TAKRAF Group’s second voluntary Sustainability Report reinforces commitment to ESG integration

TAKRAF Group’s second Sustainability Report for the fiscal year 2024 complies with the EU’s European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS), according to the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).

Building on the foundation of its inaugural 2023 report, TAKRAF Group’s 2024 Sustainability Report reflects the company’s ongoing progress in embedding sustainability across its global operations and advancing compliance with the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

We are delighted to announce the release of TAKRAF Group’s second Sustainability Report, covering the fiscal year 2024.

Building on the foundation of our inaugural 2023 report, this year’s edition reflects our continued progress in integrating sustainability into every aspect of TAKRAF Group’s operations. What began as a framework has now evolved into a truly collaborative effort across all parts of the Group - reinforcing our commitment to responsible business practices and sustainable growth.

“Sustainability is not a separate initiative, it is part of how we operate and create value every day,” says Thomas Jabs, CEO of TAKRAF Group. “This report demonstrates the tangible progress we have made in embedding environmental and social responsibility into our business model, and our determination to contribute meaningfully to a more sustainable industry.”

The 2024 Sustainability Report has been enhanced through improved data collection processes and strong cross-functional collaboration, ensuring even greater accuracy, transparency and insight into our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) performance.

As one of the frontrunners in adopting the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) under the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), TAKRAF Group continues to lead by example. We see compliance not merely as an obligation but as a strategic opportunity to strengthen our impact, deliver value to our stakeholders and drive sustainable development across our markets.

Our reporting remains guided by the double materiality principle, first established in 2023, which evaluates both the environmental and financial implications of ESG factors. Through this approach, we ensure that our actions focus on the issues that matter most: to our business, our people and our stakeholders.

The 2024 report is again presented in two complementary documents:

  • Sustainability Report: A clear and engaging overview of TAKRAF Group’s ESG journey, achievements and priorities, designed for a broad audience.
  • Technical Report: A detailed, data-driven document aligned with ESRS requirements, offering a comprehensive look into our sustainability methodologies and performance indicators.
