Following the structural transformation of the 1990s, TAKRAF Group entered a new phase of development – one defined by innovation, digitalization and a global mindset.
From manufacturer to EPC partner
No longer limited to building individual machines, TAKRAF Group began offering Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) services, providing integrated, turnkey systems tailored to each client’s needs. This shift required not only technological expertise, but also project management excellence and close cooperation with international partners.
Innovation and digital transformation
Throughout the 2010s, TAKRAF Group invested in advanced control systems, automation and digital tools. Using 3D modeling, virtual simulations and data analytics, engineers could design more efficient, sustainable and cost-effective solutions.
Commitment to sustainability
As environmental awareness grew, TAKRAF Group prioritized energy-efficient designs, modular systems and reduced environmental footprints. Today, sustainability is a core pillar of the company’s philosophy, reflected in every project worldwide. In 2014, the DELKOR brand was integrated into TAKRAF Group with its specialized product portfolio for minerals processing, which leads the way in water protection and ecological sustainability in overburden management and drainage.
A truly global company
With major projects across continents – from copper mines in Chile and Peru to iron ore operations in Australia and India, to only name a few – TAKRAF Group stands for engineering excellence and reliability in the global mining industry.
“Our transformation into a full-scope solutions provider was a defining step. Today, we deliver not just machines but integrated, efficient and sustainable systems for our clients worldwide.” – Thomas Jabs, CEO TAKRAF Group.
In December, we conclude our anniversary journey with a look into the future: 300 years of innovation – and counting.
