Vanino Coal Teminal Project Visit to the Site by the Chief of Russian Railways
The whole Russian press, including the central Russian television broadcasters, reported the visit of the Chief of Russian Railways and the Governor of the Khabarovsk region on Friday, 15 June 2007.
The gentlemen were accompanied by Mr. Rashevsky (General Director of SUEK) and Mr. Artemjev (Deputy General Director of SUEK) during their visit.

The gentlemen were accompanied by Mr. Rashevsky (General Director of SUEK) and Mr. Artemjev (Deputy General Director of SUEK) during their visit. Mr. Velikanov (Head of the Moscow TAKRAF Office) was on site to answer any questions asked by the guests and our customer about the TAKRAF delivery.

The contract concluded between SUEK and TAKRAF in Moscow on 2 September 2005 includes the complete equipment for the coal terminal newly to be erected: - Wagon tipplers - Various conveyor systems - Stacker/Reclaimers - Shiploaders - Various additional equipment To meet the environmental requirements, all conveyor transfer points and the wagon tippler buildings will be provided with dust removing systems. The plant is designed for an hourly capacity of the individual components of 3,000 t and thus, ensures an annual handling capacity of at least 12 million tons.

Even now the project is distinguished by superlatives. One of the Russian television broadcasters titled with "Superterminal at the Pacific Ocean", which will be the largest and most profitable terminal in Russia some day. TAKRAF GmbH 06.2007
