Transport Crawlers

Transport crawlers are auxiliary machines developed for the transport and relocation of heavy and big units of mining and processing plant equipment like head or tail stations of belt conveyors, segments of conveyor structure, semi-mobile crushing plants, apron or belt feeder, surge bins etc. The main parts of a Transport Crawler are the transport platform between two large crawler tracks – optional with an operators cabin or with remote control. The transport platform can be lifted and leveled via hydraulic cylinders. Tenova TAKRAF offers machines with a payload from 250 t to 1200 t and a climbing ability up to 20% (1:5).
