1.  Trainee Program for Technical and Management Staff

Being a worldwide acting company supplying technically advanced
products, we rely on the high qualification and motivation of our
personnel being the basis for our success.

We have developed a scheme for qualified junior staff on the technical,
commercial and managerial level. Thus, we provide job opportunities
for young graduates who are looking for an interesting position in
a worldwide acting company.

Our trainee program is designed to give systematic and practical
training to graduates from colleges and universities in all fields of
activities of MAN TAKRAF.

We invite graduates in the following fields to participate in our
trainee program:

• mechanical engineering
• materials handling engineering
• electrical engineering

We give particular preference to trainee candidates featuring:

• university grades with above-average examination marks
• excellent knowledge of English and possibly knowledge of
  another foreign language
• initiative, creativity and energy
• commitment to the work, team-spirit and open-mindedness
• mobility and readiness to live and work abroad

Aim of trainee program

Our trainee program is intended to combine the theoretical
knowledge already acquired during studies with detailed
information and special knowledge of our business operations.
We provide information that is necessary for starting work in our
company on a sound and forward-looking basis.

Duration of trainee program

The trainee period is designed to be completed within 18 months.
During this time, the trainee will learn all essential activities in all
departments of our company, considering individual qualifications
and potential further development.

2.  Vocational training

We offer a vocational training to graduates from schools to become

• draftsman/draftswoman
• office administrator
• mechanical fitter
• mechanical metal cutter

The vocational training as mechanical fitter and mechanical metal cutter is given at our Lauchhammer workshop. The vocational training as office administrator and draftsman/draftswoman is given at the location of Leipzig.

Duration of training: 3.5 years and 3 years, respectively
