At TAKRAF Group, safety isn't just a priority; it's one of our core values. As we mark the World Day for Safety and Health at Work, we reaffirm our steadfast commitment to ensuring the well-being of #TeamTAKRAF in every facet of their working lives. While this day serves as a global reminder, at TAKRAF Group, safety is paramount 365 days a year.

Our commitment to safety applies to our diverse work environments, from bustling offices to dynamic product & service centers and to on-site locations that pose completely different setups. We recognize that each environment presents unique risks, and we spare no effort in mitigating them.

In Germany, we hosted a digital lecture that started with the importance of safety and health awareness, key actions and processes. This informative session was followed by an insight into safety protocols and measures during maintenance activities at projects in West Africa. Our German sites in Leipzig and Lauchhammer, where many employees work in the office and a large proportion in the Product & Service Center, then organized specific training classes. These included bicycle safety training and a forklift course.

In South Africa, our focus this year is on continuous improvement of near-miss reporting through a targeted safety campaign. Our initiatives include engaging safety videos, informative snippets and reinforcement of our key safety slogan: stop, look, assess, manage.
Similarly, in Australia, our HSE management led an information campaign alongside regular updates, using the World Day for Safety and Health at Work to reinforce our safety message.

Meanwhile, TAKRAF and DELKOR India began their safety initiatives well in advance, with events around the National Safety Week in March. From road safety weeks to flag-raising ceremonies, our Indian counterparts emphasized the importance of safety in all aspects of life through insightful manager-led presentations.

As we navigate the complexities of our respective industries, safety remains our guiding principle. Through proactive measures, continuous training and an ongoing commitment to our safety promise, TAKRAF Group is fully determined to ensure a safe working environment for all. On this World Day for Safety and Health at Work, let us unite in our pursuit of a safer and healthier future for all.
